If you’re a woman, you love adventure and you didn’t go last year, you’re gonna want to go this year — Britain’s first adventure and travel expo for women is coming to Bristol again this autumn! It’ll be an action-packed day with inspiring talks and workshops by leading female adventurers, a chance to meet loads of other like-minded individuals and so much more.
The Women’s Adventure Expo launched last year and was a resounding success, and with this year’s venue bigger than last year’s, I think you can expect an even better event this time round. The line-up of Britain’s top female adventurers will be headlined by Sarah Outen, Anna McNuff, Mollie Hughes and Lois Pryce and workshops will include Independent Travel for Women, Careers in Adventure, UK Adventures, plus motivational topics like Never Give Up and Turning Dreams into Reality.
Last year’s Expo delivered game-changing confidence to women. “Being surrounded by nature, immersed in a challenge or part of an expedition are life-transforming experiences,” explained co-founder of the Women’s Adventure Expo, Rebecca Hughes. “For many women these opportunities have all too often been accompanied by self-limiting believes, gender bias and misperceptions. The Women’s Adventure Expo is breaking down these barriers by empowering more women to embrace not only adventure, but their own ability to complete incredible challenges.”
